Hi there, I'm Vashti Walker. Ever since I was a little girl, I knew my purpose was wrapped up in the joyful bark and the wagging tail of a dog. That calling led me to found FETCH K9 Coaching. For me, it's so much more than just "training". It's about unlocking the incredible bond you're meant to have with your dog. At FETCH, which stands for Fundamental and Essential Training for Canine Homes, we do more than fix behaviors. We build relationships. The foundation of everything we do is built on three pillars: empathy, structure, and trust.
I believe in being a lifelong student to better serve my clients. I'm proficient in a variety of training techniques and I'm currently pursuing my CPDT-KA certification to ensure my methods are always grounded in the latest science and ethical standards. My approach is balanced, meaning I meet your dog where they are with clarity and compassion, never with fear or gimmicks.

Puppy Coaching & Socialization
Raising a puppy is exciting but can be overwhelming. Our Puppy Coaching Program at the pet store helps you build a calm, well-mannered dog through housebreaking, crate training, bite control, manners, and socialization. Each session is positive, fun, and practical, giving your pup real-world experience in a safe, rewarding environment. Start your puppy off on the right paw for a lifetime of success.

Behavior Modification for Reactivity & Anxiety
If your dog is reactive on walks, fearful of strangers, anxious when left alone, or struggles with environmental triggers, you’re not alone. We’ll teach you how to recognize stress signals, avoid escalation, and respond with calm, consistent communication. Whether it’s leash reactivity, separation anxiety, or general nervousness, we’ll guide you through gentle, practical techniques that restore peace to your home and confidence to your dog.

Basic Family Dog Obedience Training
Dogs thrive on consistency, so we work with the whole family to ensure everyone’s on the same page. We teach age-appropriate methods for each family member, ensuring your dog understands what’s expected, no yelling, no confusion, just clear, kind communication. Whether it’s learning to greet guests politely or staying calm during meal prep, our family-centered approach makes life with your dog smoother and more enjoyable.

Board and Train Program
Give your dog an immersive reset. Your pup stays with us and trains daily through structured routines, obedience practice, and controlled socialization. We address problem behaviors, build reliable skills, and return your dog with clear homework and owner coaching.
